The former orchestral violinist Maya Meron whose career was terminated by the collapse of a machine in a Hampstead gym has won a second claim against the gym owner after proving the machine to be faulty.
Maya, 45, now uses a wheelchair and is unable to pursue her profession. The amount of compensation, paid by the gym’s insurer, was not disclosed. The violinist was previously awarded £250,000 by way of interim settlement.
